茄子の見方

言いたいことはひとつ。日本はコーヒー党の多い、コーヒー消費大国なのに、豆に関しての法律が抜け穴だらけだし、有名な珈琲店ですら粗悪な豆を使っている始末。
消費者はもっと怒っていいと思う。本当に日本で使用される豆って酷い！と強く主張したい。

共産党・吉井英勝議員が主張していることは「厳密に原産地がどこなのか表記すべき」ということ。これは大賛成。消費者にとっては当然の知る権利であると思う上に、悪徳コーヒー・チェーンを駆逐する解決策になる。
なんでミジンコがここまで言うかというと、コーヒー豆と農薬の関係が切っても切れないから。
ほとんどのケースで大規模農場で栽培されるコーヒー豆。日本では考えられないほどの農薬散布が行われている場合がある。
もちろん、そうではない農場もあるのだが、その分だけ収穫率が下がりコストは高くなる。でもさ、高くても安全なコーヒーを飲みたいってのが日本の消費者心理なんでは？

吉井議員の弁ではこうある。
『コーヒー豆をめぐっては、残留農薬の基準オーバーで日本に輸入できない豆を、大手コーヒーチェーン「スターバックス」が、アメリカで焙煎（ばいせん）することで輸入している問題や、原産国の検査機関が「安全」とすれば日本では輸入時に検査しなくてもすむ問題などがあります。』
